During lunch time today, as part of British Science Week, our Science Student Leaders demonstrated an Iodine Clock Reaction! This is a brilliant visual experiment showing the effects of concentration on rates of reaction!

BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK LIBRARY DISPLAY 🧪📚
It is British Science Week this week and we have some fantastic STEM-themed books in the Library for students to borrow. The theme this year is 'Curiosity - what's your question?' Many of the answers can be found in books and our wonderful science department have kindly lent us some props for our display for students to look at. We have also highlighted some of the many people who have worked towards careers in the industry, to show the wide range of opportunities available.

🌟 YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE SPOTLIGHT #21🌟
Faeeza has spent her work experience week at Precinct Pharmacy, where she has been involved in a range of important tasks. One of her key responsibilities was carrying out date checks to ensure that no medication on the shelves was past its use by date - helping to guarantee that patients only receive safe and effective medicines. 💊✔️
She has also supported the team with various other duties, including helping to organise and arrange the shop, all while building her confidence and gaining a real understanding of how a pharmacy operates day to day.
