YEAR 11 MOCK EXAMS 📚✏️
The timetable for our Year 11 mock exams has been released.
📅 The main mock exam period will take place from 9th - 20th November. Please also note the following additional assessments:
- Spanish Speaking Exams – 22nd November
- Art Practical Exams – 24th & 25th November
⏰ All exams will begin promptly at 8:45am. Arriving on time is essential, as late arrival can cause unnecessary stress and place students at a disadvantage.
We would like to thank parents and carers in advance for their support in helping students prepare for and attend all exams punctually during this important period.
Good luck to all of our Year 11 students as they begin their mock examinations! 🌟

Our Librarian has been speaking to students and has ordered some fantastic new books in line with their choices and interests. It was a very exciting day when the first lot of books arrived, thank you to Browns Books for organising such a speedy delivery. Students are welcome to visit the Library to borrow the books. #NationalYearOfReading #GoAllIn

GCSE SOCIOLOGY
Sociology students put their research skills into practice!
Using maths cubes as a hands-on sampling activity, our Year 10 GCSE Sociology students explored different sampling methods, including random, systematic and stratified sampling. By selecting cubes to represent populations and samples, students were able to visualise how sociologists gather representative data and the strengths and limitations of different approaches.
A fantastic example of active learning, helping students develop their understanding of sociological research methods while building analytical and critical thinking skills.
