As the Headteacher of this exceptional school, I am extremely proud of our ethos which is based on Respect, Pride, Creativity and Challenge. Staff and students embrace our values and as a result we are a busy happy school with a tenable warmth of togetherness.
Regents Park is an over- subscribed mixed 11-16 school in the heart of Shirley, Southampton. We pride ourselves on our high expectations rewarding individual talents and progress, encouraging every single student to be the best version of themselves.
The school is one of the oldest in Southampton steeped in history at over 100 years old. At Regents Park we provide a wonderful mix of tradition with a modern twist on teaching and learning ensuring that we provide a curriculum that generates interest, challenge and most importantly offers fun and excitement. Academic performance is driven by our love for learning and celebrating the success of students drives our commitment to achieve.
Teaching is characterised by highly effective planning, secure subject knowledge, a wide range of teaching strategies and the use of detailed information about pupils.
Our pastoral care is second to none and we pride ourselves in the support and respect that emanates around the school with Student Leadership and Student Voice forming the platform on which the school continues to excel.
Our success is built on the commitment we have towards each and every student. As a small community school we understand the needs of each individual and data is used effectively to inspire each child to do their best.

🎉✨A PROM NIGHT TO REMEMBER! ✨🎉
Last night, Year 11 celebrated at their end of year prom! From the stunning decorations to the elegant attire, every detail was amazing. Our students danced the night away, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Highlights of the evening included:
🎵 A fantastic DJ who kept the dance floor packed all night
📸 A photobooth capturing fun and candid moments
🍰 Delicious sweet treats that kept everyone energized
🎀 A huge thank you to Prop-Up for her fabulous decorations — she did an amazing job transforming the venue, including the entrance, the photo backdrop, and the sweet cart!
🕶️ Special thanks to Miss Brookes for putting together the brilliant prom glasses — they added a fun and memorable touch to the night!
A huge thank you to the Head of Year team, staff, and all the students who made this event unforgettable. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, celebrating the end of the school year in style.

📢 We are extremely proud to announce that we have raised an incredible £2,044 for Alfie’s Wish and Men's Minds Matter which will be split equally between the two charities.
This is an outstanding achievement, and we would like to thank all those involved in supporting with the events, in particular our This Girl Can Ambassadors and PE Champions ✨️

TRANSITION DAY #2
It has been an exciting day so far, filled with energy and creativity!
In PE, students dove into a fast-paced game of gaga ball, developing their agility and teamwork. They also took part in activities focused on team building and communication, learning the value of collaboration through movement and play🏃♂️🏐
Over in Art, creativity took flight, as students used recycled book pages from the RPCC library to design incredible insect drawings. They brought their creations to life by adding colour and depth, turning them into stunning 3D artworks. 📚🪲🌈

Today, we’re thrilled to welcome our future Year 7 students, as they experience a taste of life at RPCC!
Our incoming Year 6s have settled in brilliantly and are already getting stuck into a fun-filled day of activities, with taster sessions in PE, art and geography.
