Signs of Stress
Possible warning signs include:
- Physical signs of harm that are repeated or appear non-accidental
- Changes in eating or sleeping habits
- Increased isolation from friends or family, becoming socially withdrawn
- Changes in activity and mood
- Lowering of academic achievement
- Talking or joking about self-harm or suicide
- Abusing drugs or alcohol
- Expressing feelings of failure, uselessness or loss of hope
- Changes in clothing – e.g. long sleeves in warm weather
- Secretive behaviour
- Skipping PE or getting changed secretively
- Lateness to or absence from school
- Repeated physical pain or nausea with no evident cause
- An increase in lateness or absenteeism

All staff and students are now on the coach making their way home.
The pick up point will be at Tesco, as per departure.

Dear Parents & Carers
The peak of the heat wave is due to pass over the weekend, with more manageable temperatures next week. Therefore, students need to wear their summer school uniform next week. This means tailored shorts can be worn, there is no need for a blazer and shirts can be untucked. Please remind your children, that they should not be wearing base layers under short sleeved tops and if they are cold or want to cover their arms they can wear long shirts or their blazers.
Any breaches in school uniform will mean your child could be isolated.

Today, students and staff on the Munich trip took an underground train and small boat ride. Students have really enjoyed today, especially going down the slides!

SPORTS DISPLAY IN LIBRARY
There are so many amazing sports events happening over the summer. We have a wide range of books available in the Library for students to read about their favourite sports or maybe discover a new one. ⚽🎾🚴♀️🏅
