Duke of Edinburgh

Through the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programme, young people can have fun, make friends, improve their self esteem and build confidence. They gain essential skills and attributes for work and life such as resilience, problem-solving, team-working, communication and drive, enhancing CVs and university and job applications.  There are three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level of the award has four sections, Volunteering, Skill, Physical, and Expedition. We are currently offering Bronze award for Year 10 and Year 11.  Our expedition takes place in the New Forest and students will be taught to independently navigate their way around routes in the forest, to cook on camping stoves independently, and it is an incredibly valuable experience that students remember for the rest of their lives.

From 2024, at Regents Park, you can take part in Bronze Award in Year 9, Silver Award in Year 10 and Year 11.

RPCC is proud to share with you our Duke of Edinburgh certificate, which showcases students’ amazing volunteering achievements.
