Attendance News

28 Feb 2024

Ensuring that children attend school regularly plays a crucial role in providing them with the best opportunities for a successful start in life. When students miss school frequently, it can impact their academic progress and performance in their final GCSEs. We encourage consistent attendance to support each student's overall growth and success.

At Regents Park, we believe that maintaining strong attendance involves being present at school for at least 95% of the time or 180 days or more. Taking a two-week holiday during term time would result in the highest achievable attendance being 94.5%. Your commitment to consistent attendance greatly contributes to a positive and supportive learning environment for everyone in our school community.

Enjoy the 175 non-school days throughout the year for family moments, visits, holidays, shopping, and appointments. Remember, every day at school counts for learning, so let's make the most of those school days and create wonderful memories!
