French Restaurant Competitions

Madame Loubier has organised restaurant competitions with her Year 7 classes. For this competition, the students had to organise themselves into groups of 6 maximum. Each group chose a group leader, they then decided what kind of restaurant they wanted to set up. It had to be linked to a French-speaking country. All the props, menus and food had to follow one same logic in order to win the competition. Moreover, they had to communicate in French to the judges.

This task combined research, organisation, linguistic and cooking skills. After the judges decided who had done the best overall, students were allowed to taste each other’s food.

It was a lovely atmosphere and all the students made their teachers very proud.
