    Please see the end of term information: End of Academic Year Firstly, I would like to thank you for all the support that you have given the school throughout the academic year, it has really been appreciated. End of Summer Term As per the school’s website, I would like to confirm that our students will finish for the summer break at 12.30pm on Friday 21st July 2023. The last day will be a non-school uniform day, this is as a result of our student voice requests and as an end of term treat – we will not be requesting any donations. Start of Academic Year 2023 Please see below information with regards to the start of the new academic year: Monday 4th September 2023 Professional Development Day for staff – school closed to students Tuesday 5th September 2023 Professional Development Day for staff – school closed to students Wednesday 6th September 2023 New Year 7 students only, 8.20am arrival Year 11 Thorpe Park Visit – all day Thursday 7th September 2023 All years in school, 8.20am arrival I wish you and your family a restful summer and hope you all get a well-deserved break.

    We would like to share an exciting opportunity for students to take part in free (funded by SCC), non contact Hatton Boxing (with pads and gloves) with Jenny Patrick at St James Park, 4pm-5pm Wednesday and 2-3pm Saturdays every other week.   This opportunity can help:  *Young people aged 13-25 by getting them involved in sport to improve mental and physical health *build confidence *reduce anxiety *give them key skills such as communication/body language skills for their futures *Assist young people that would not normally have access to exercise groups or activities.   To register, please call or email Jenny Patrick at thehealthandfitnesscoach@mail.com or 07887 533 844.
