Bletchley Park

The Year 8 students had a fantastic day out at Bletchley Park last week, home of the World War Two code breakers! In the morning, they became cryptologists; cracking different types of codes to solve a bigger puzzle as a team. They even got to try out one of the original Enigma machines! Students also had a tour around site from a Bletchley historian and had a chance to explore the museums and learn more about Alan Turing, Wartime Intelligence and the logistics of running Bletchley. Year 8 were an absolute credit to the school and we look forward to visiting again next year with Year 7.
