🧪 YEAR 9 VISIT TO LIFELAB 🧬
On Friday, a group of our Year 9 students were invited to visit LifeLab, hosted by Southampton General Hospital. The visit aimed to empower students to better understand the science behind the messages they see and hear every day and to apply that knowledge to the choices they make for their own lives – supporting their health now, in the future and for their future families.
Students took part in engaging, hands-on activities and had the exciting opportunity to meet a microbiologist, learning first-hand about their role and the important work they do in healthcare and medical research. It was a fantastic insight into real-world science and potential STEM careers.
Our students represented the school brilliantly, showing curiosity, enthusiasm and thoughtful engagement throughout the day. A huge thank you to the team at LifeLab and Southampton General Hospital for such an inspiring and informative experience.

The show was immersive, funny and inspiring, giving our students the chance to experience Spanish in action and grow their confidence in the language.
